Our incredible team is the heart of Sterling Equine Therapy. It’s their dedication, passion and talent that mean you and your horses have the best possible experience and results.

"As we evolve in the equestrian field, so does our understanding of how to keep our equine partners safer and sounder. Sitting on an FEI Board and having competed for more years than I care to mention in everything from Showjumping and Eventing to National Show Hunters, Side Saddle and competing at 6 World Equestrian Games, I am privileged to have been at the forefront of the equine world, and have witnessed first hand the care, maintenance and management needed to compete at all levels.

Today we are much more diligent over prevention rather than cure and as Equestrianism, quite rightly, increases its 'Clean Sport' message we have developed technology to keep them more comfortable, stronger and healthier which, in turn, increases their longevity.

I am beyond proud of what we have created in our little corner of East Sussex and look forward to welcoming many equines and their human counterparts in the years to come. I am excited to share just what can be achieved".

Centre Director

Horses have always been a huge part of Tabitha's life. Stemming from watching and travelling with her parents to competitions as a very young child, her riding developed from being led around on Lancelot the donkey, to joining the Pony Club, riding up to National level Dressage and eventually competing at World Championship level for the GB Young Rider Reining team. This background has resulted in a passion for equine health, management and performance, consequently leading to a career in Veterinary Medicine. She didn't want to wait before beginning to make a difference, and with the support of family and friends, she put together Sterling Equine Therapy so that owners could start reaping the rewards of a holistic approach to your horses health and wellbeing.

Head Technician

Having ridden all her life and worked with top level competition horses since her early teens, Nic has spent 2 decades at the heart of the equestrian industry. Following on from gaining an equestrian based BSc Hons degree, her career has centred around all aspects of conditioning and fittening horses for International competition as well as the rehabilitation of a wide range of injuries, successfully bringing horses back to the International stage. She works incredibly closely with owners, vets, farriers and other equine professionals to build individually tailored rehabilitation and fittening programmes, ensuring your horse has the best possible chance of success.

Equine Veterinary Physiotherapist

Kate is the Team GB Para Dressage Equine Physiotherapist and we are lucky to have her (and her sidekick 'Eddie') as part of the team here at Sterling Equine. She has been with horses all her life, having started riding at the age of 3, and is a Chartered Human and Veterinary Physiotherapist. Passionate about working with combinations of all levels - from happy hackers through to the elite competition horses, her unique ability to really listen to owners, as well as her talent at what she does best, make her a true asset to our team. The difference she makes to the journey and progression of the horses that come into us, be it for rehabilitation, strengthening or fitness is immeasurable, enabling fantastic results and a truly holistic approach to your horses recovery.

Fi has been at Sterling for many years and is an integral part of the team here. When not taking part in one of her many charitable endeavours, including as a volunteer vaccinator throughout Covid, she is found here ensuring that the needs of every horse staying with us are met to the highest standard. Assisting with all aspects of the daily care and rehabilitation of the horses onsite, she is always on hand to answer questions and give updates throughout your horses stay.

After completing her college studies, we were lucky enough to have Holly join us here at Sterling Equine. With her own horse at home, Holly has many years of equine experience. She is great with nervous horses and has a keen interest in all aspects of equine rehabilitation.
